Delivery Disruption Expected Across UK during King Charles III Coronation Celebrations from May 2nd to May 9th

As the nation prepares for the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla on May 6th, 2023, significant road closures will take place in London and other parts of the UK will see localized road closures for street parties. With the expected influx of holiday and leisure traffic during the bank holiday weekend, there is a high likelihood of road delays throughout the country from May 2nd to May 9th.

Although London will experience a greater impact than other regions, certain areas across the country may experience delivery disruption. As a result, we recommend extending your customer promise by an extra day during this period to manage your customers’ expectations effectively.

At Sprint, we will closely monitor the situation and keep you updated. If you have any questions or concerns, please speak to your Account Manager or contact us directly.
