Important Update – International Shipping Disruptions

We would like to make you aware of an ongoing situation that may impact some international shipments.

Due to recent airspace closures and operational disruptions across parts of the Middle East, global air cargo networks are currently experiencing delays and capacity constraints. These disruptions are affecting a number of tracked mail carriers, logistics networks and other international delivery providers.

As a result, customers may experience:

  • Extended transit times on certain international routes
  • Temporary service adjustments or rerouting of shipments
  • Additional carrier surcharges are applied by some networks to help manage increased operational costs

Some carriers, including FedEx, have already introduced temporary demand surcharges on selected routes to offset the increased costs caused by rerouted flights and reduced air cargo capacity. These surcharges will be applied directly by the carrier where applicable. We would also add that the fuel surcharge will fluctuate, so we recommend being aware of it.

Please note that not all destinations are impacted, and services continue to operate where possible. However, the situation is evolving, and delays may occur while carriers adjust routes and capacity. Recent airspace closures have already caused widespread flight cancellations and reduced air cargo capacity globally. (The Guardian)

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will keep you informed of any further updates that may affect your shipments.
